Preborn Jesus Ministry is happy that we have Consecrated this apostolate to St. Joseph as well as to Jesus and Mary.
“To GIVE life to someone is the greatest of all gifts. To SAVE a life is the next. Who GAVE life to Jesus? It was MARY. Who SAVED His life?... Let ST. JOSEPH speak for this honor is his alone; he alone is the savior of the Savior.”
Blessed Wm. Joseph Chaminade
That quote was taken from Fr. Donald Calloway’s amazing book,
Consecration to St. Joseph: The Wonders of Our Spiritual Father. This quote and the stanza from the Prayer to St. Joseph, Terror of Demons affirms St. Joseph as protector,
“You (St. Joseph) fled through the night to avoid the devil’s wicked designs”.
Indeed, St. Joseph, the great defender of life, is the one who guarded the “Bread of Life” from Herod’s massacre of the Holy Innocents when he took the Child and the Blessed Mother and fled to Egypt!
On Feb. 2, 2020 on the Feast of the Presentation in the Temple, after a 33 Day Consecration to St. Joseph, Preborn Jesus Ministry was placed under the patronage of St. Joseph. On its inception, this pro-life apostolate was under the Patronage of Our Lady of Guadalupe, with Preborn Jesus within her womb.
Today, ten years later and through the Holy Spirit’s work through Fr. Donald Calloway, we have come to understand, as Fr. Calloway states,
“Without Joseph, we would not have the Living Bread of the Eucharist. Mary “kneaded the dough” in her sacred womb; St. Joseph lovingly preserved the Bread in Egypt. He continues to guard and preserve the Bread of Life in every tabernacle in the world. St. Joseph made it possible for all his children to receive the Bread of Everlasting Life.”
What an all encompassing example of Fatherhood!
Fr. Calloway also informs the reader of the alleged apparitions of St. Joseph to Sr. Mary Ephrem, also known as Sr. Mildred Mary Neuzil from Ohio, saying these apparitions (known as “Our Lady of America”) are extremely important for our times, calling for a special feast day in honor of St. Joseph’s fatherhood to be established. Sr. Mary Ephrem states that in the messages given by St. Joseph to her on March 18 and 19, 1958,
“All fatherhood is blessed in me whom the Eternal Father chose as his representative on earth, the Virgin-Father of His own Divine Son. Through me the Heavenly Father has blessed all fatherhood...”
St. Joseph instructed Sr. Mary Ephrem that God wants St. Joseph to be honored on the first Wednesday of every month. To fulfill this request, beginning the First Wednesday in March 2020, and every month, after, Preborn Jesus Ministry will honor St. Joseph by offering the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary and the reception of Holy Communion as was specifically requested according to the apparition of St. Joseph to Sr. Mary Ephrem. As you may know, our apostolate is based on the Joyful mysteries of the rosary and we encourage others to join us in honoring St. Joseph in this way.
With the adding of St. Joseph to Preborn Jesus Ministry, we bring your attention to the unique title given to St. Joseph, the great pro-life defender and “Savior of the Savior!”
Through consecrating our selves and our work for the glory of God, to St. Joseph, we can journey with the one who guarded the Bread of Life from Herod’s massacre of the Holy Innocents, St. Joseph! Just think of it- the Infant Jesus was saved under the protection of St. Joseph so that Jesus could redeem us with His blood!
Thank you St. Joseph for being the finest example of Fatherhood!
St. Joseph, pray for us and this pro-life apostolate!
